Our Habitas San Miguel de Allende

a hot tub or fireplace at the terrace would make a big difference in the experience.

Everything was super nice and everybody lively and accomodating. It was hard to find as the google maps location doenst show the right entrance. But once we made it it was great. The food was very good although pretty pricy especially considering the tipping culture here that we re not used to.

The rooms got veeeery cold at night so much so that you have to sleep with several layers to not wake up in the middle of the night. There is no possibility of heating it. The tipping culture here takes getting used to. Even for the included breakfast we had staff running after us to get tipped. Considering the room price that felt a bit desperate.

The staff are super friendly, the free workshops are amazing!

The location is a bit weird, it's ten minutes drive from San Miguel so I'd recommend staying there instead. I booked this place at the end of a two month trip because it said it had a pool and I wanted to chill. But the pool is at another hotel and plays loud pumping music all day, not relaxing at all. The food at Habitas is also extremely overpriced, I'd recommend going into town to eat where there are so many great, much cheaper restaurants. Also, you can't just walk out of the place as it's surrounded by fencing which felt a bit restricted to me. The staff are brilliant but the Habitas concept isn't really my vibe.

The programming by Alejandra was so good! My partner and I enjoyed it so much!!
