We stayed in Fior di caperi room for three nights. Modern and bright room with colorful flower paintings on the walls, walk-in shower, mini fridge and comfortable bed. Centrally located, a few minutes walk to the sassi. There is a public parking a few steps from the accomodation at 10 Euro/24 h, easily accessible. A copious buffet breakfast is served in the basement of the next-door caffè. Above all, what makes this place so special is Mireilla and Anna's warm welcome, great smiles, and willingness to make our stay memorable. They provided us with a city map at our arrival, booked a walking tour for us, shared with us their true love of Matera. They were quick to respond to any enquiries and made restaurant reservations for us. If one day we return to Matera, we would return to Profumi di Primavera without hesitation !

The location was great

The room was called a junior suite and it was so small. Other than the bed the only other place to layout our large suitcase open was on the shower floor. How can this be considered any kind of suite? They moved us to a regular suite. The tradeoff was a larger room but the only window opening to the outside was in the bathroom.
