Riviera Suites

We loved our stay at Riviera Suites. It was like new and very clean and impeccably finished. Also super convenient to everything in the harbor. The view of the Harbor was amazing. Not a complaint, but you do need to carry your luggage up the stairs as there isn’t an elevator, but that was a minor inconvenience. Overall a fantastic experience.

We received a warm welcome from Elia, she gave us good advice on restaurants and helped us order cabs. The room was gorgeous, spotless, balcony looking over the harbour which was so nice to sit and have wine looking out. The bathroom was immaculate and modern with a steam room. Had a hairdryer, a steamer, toiletries. Breakfast was brilliant at Pallas which also did great dinner and cocktails. Location was excellent for a couple or a single traveller. Only downside for some would be the steps to the rooms not accessible for all. Would definitely recommend loved it wished we were there longer.

The location was very good and the room well equiped.

The staff was totally inapropriate and rude. They called us three days before the arrival to ask about our arrival time and they pointed out the fact that they did not offer 24 hours reception so they should know the arrival time. We asked if there was a parking area since we were carring a lot of staff and they said no. We requested if they could find a solution and they answered they would give us an update the day after. Of course they never informed us so we had to text them to a number -that they had used to sent instructions for the check in- which proved to be a personal one!!! After our message they answered negatively. When we arrived (6:30 a.m.) there was only the cleaning lady who welcomed us and told us to leave our luggage unattended!!! We did so and left.The person in charge called us later on to ask again what time we would return since the reception was not 24 hours available( 2nd time mentioned). We answered we would inform her before our arrival so that she would know. On our way back we texted that we are arriving but there was no reaction...We were wondering if someone was waiting for us or not so we pointed out the issue on our arrival and she answered back she does not allow anybody to speak her in such a way and there was another check in she was having at that time so she could not answer any phone call!!!.She added she will call the person in charge and admonished us for using her private phone number !!!! Our staff was still unattended at 19:00 p.m. and of course never proposed to help us carry them on the neverending staircase! The adventure was completed the day after when we had to go to another place for the breakfast using a ticket they provide us with but we were not allowed to be at the open air area as everybody else did at the cafe but had to enter inside as was agreed with our place!!! Of course we left and took our breakfast to a nice open air place paying extra money... On our check out they hardly spoke us...
