Clean and well maintained, but the walls are very thin and we could hear everything our neighbors said and did

My room was very clean and was in excellent condition. It was rather small, and had only one small window that overlooked a parking lot behind the building, apart from a frosted window in the bathroom. I slept well. The hotel does not offer much in the way of amenities. There is a “no-touch” check-in procedure involving a fairly involved online information gathering procedure including uploading photos of my driver’s license. No-touch means you don’t stop at the front desk. You park in front of your room, enter your private door code, and leave when your reservation is complete. I never met or spoke to a staff member. Some people may prefer this. I can see some advantages, but I thought it was a little unsettling. As I wrote, the room was clean, and quiet on a Sunday night. If I return to Saratoga, I’ll keep this motel on my list, but I will also look at other properties.

The ease of check-in, the updated and very clean bathroom and kitchenette. Downtown within walking distance.

Good location. Easy online check-in.

Carpet was filthy with visibly stains and food crumbs. To me it looked like pet stains as they were near the walls and around the bed. Shower drain got backed up when taking a shower which meant standing in pooled water. Only one hand towel left for two people. Coffee maker had not been cleaned and an old, used single-use coffee pod was still in the drip housing. Only one chair outside to sit on, again for two people. Staff not on site.
