Insulae Resort

It is very clean, beautiful interior design of the rooms and entire resort. Staff friendly, polite and accommodating. Beds and bedding so comfy, probably most comfortable I’ve come across during my travels. We liked it so much we had extended our stay. Very good quality of food provided at breakfast and lunch (haven’t tried the dinner).

The only downside was poor ventilation in the bathroom. The shuttle service between the resort and Cefalù centre is a good service but it would be great if there were a couple of runs in the later evening. It would be helpful to have a map of the resort's facilities in each room or a tour at the point of check-in.

The location is just near railway (you hear trains every 20 minutes..) and below big factory. To reach the beach, you have to walk 400m. All this is just something you do not expect from a boutique hotel.

This is a modern hotel located outside of Cefalu, you need a car to get to Cefalu or use the hotel bikes. The grounds of the hotel are very nicely designed. It has its own private parking. Be sure NOT to follow Google Maps to the hotel but use the provided route instead. It’s modern-designed hotel and it has a luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are all bungalow style with private terraces. It is very quiet at night and the bed is very comfortable. The room is very clean and has all amenities you might need during your stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served via a buffet and you can order dishes a la carte (included). The pool area is very nice, lots of options to lay in the sun or sit in the shade. So, a comfortable and beautiful designed hotel outside of Cefalu, with good service for people who have a little more to spend.

The surroundings of the hotel are less nice (factory and train track behind hotel). Price-quality is a little high for Sicilian standards. Refilling the breakfast buffet could be better. It seems to be a trend these days (which we don’t like) but they send quite a lot of WhatsApp’s and asking for your check-in and check-out time! Check-out time is at 10:30 which is quite early during a normal summer holiday.

We had a wonderful time at Insulae Resort! Everything was beautiful and very clean. The staff were kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The food was tasty and the pool area was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Great location (5 minutes from Cefalu), cosy facilities and very hospitable staff

Schöne Anlage, alles und mehr was man so braucht. Nettes Personal.

Sehr schlechte Lage. Lärm durch die nahe Fabrik und die direkt an der Anlage vorbeifahrende Bahn. Zudem: Essensgerüche im Zimmer von der an das Zimmer angrenzenden Küche und laute Musik von der Poolbar.
