The location. Clean.

Almost everything. Not good shower and toilet facilities. Very bad mattress, pillows and blankets. Very bad air conditioner. Very minimal supply of basic things. Nothing at shower for washing. Not enough toilet paper. No tissues, we used toilet paper as a tissues. Only one toilet cleaning brush between two toilets, we have move it across the corridor to clean second toilet seat. No supply at the kitchen, a few teabags, 2 types. No coffee, no milk, no sugar. Very limited, very bad. My friend was not well during the night. She wanted to have hot tea with sugar to boost her energy. I could not find the minimart or similar. Thanks to the kindest seniora from the first floor, she gave us some sugar, we left it for the future tourists. Hopefully, they will suffer, but have some sweet assistance. The worse what happened to us, this is about our neighbours, second room’ s residents. It was a couple, young men, they brought later at night two local prostituuetes

Location was fantastic and beds were really comfy. The lounge area was lovely and decent sized rooms.

It said it had two bathroom but only actually 1.5, with one shower only. The doors don’t close and the one of the bathroom locks does not work. Shower was not very good - low pressure and cold water.

BE AWARE: The apartment we checked into was completely different to the pictures advertised on Expedia. We did not get what we paid for and are very disappointed with the lack of explanation, apology and compensation from the owners/managers and Expedia. This is false advertising and I would discourage anyone from staying at this property as it does not look like this – there is no natural light or windows with views, no dining table, no marble kitchen, the living area is less than half the size and the furnishings do not look like this. The check-in process was also very tedious. Apart from all of this, the location was great and the apartment was clean and well equipped, but not for the price advertised. I hope the owners update the images before anyone else experiences the same disappointment.

near to bus station and to railway station, so you can reach easily any point in the city or outside the city 2 super market near the appartment so you can get easily what you want calm, no noise, good for 4-5 persons worth to return!

We came to Genoa after just having spent 5 days in a rural area with known, very limited WiFi access. That was not a problem as we’d planned for that. When we came to this larger city, we needed lodging that had reliable internet service. We booked this property based on WiFi being listed as a popular amenity. It is a marketing stretch to say this property has WiFi; our perspective is it does not. We did speed checks multiple times during our stay; over the course of 40 hours, the speed never exceeded 1.9 mbps. (Example: It took 30+ minutes for a website to load to which we needed access for an issue we had at home.) After exchanges with the host about the situation and efforts to improve it, she said the stone walls of the building prevents higher speeds. Perhaps that’s the case at this location; if so, we believe there should be transparency about that in the property description. (Over our multi-week trip in Italy, we’ve stayed in thick, stone-walled properties in Medieval towns where WiFi speeds were great. We also talked with someone in the hallway of this Genoa building who said they have no problem with internet service.) The apartment is lovely, and the location worked well for us. Perhaps the WiFi situation I’ve described would not be an issue for others; if not, rent this apartment, you will enjoy it. For us, without that key amenity we were counting on as listed in the property description, we can rate this property no higher than fair.
