Monumental Ocean View by Atlantic Holiday

I can't fault the apartment had everything we needed or the location, only a 15-minute bus ride into Funchal with a bus stop right outside the apartment and only a 10-minute walk to the Madeira Forum shopping centre. Plenty of local restaurants & shops. The staff at Atlantic Holidays are very nice and helpful and only a phone call away if you need help with anything.

I've only got one small negative the noise coming from the building site from across the road when sitting out on the balcony.

This is an exceptionally beautiful, large and well equipped apartment. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Very conveniently located near cafes, shops and a very good supermarket. All within a walk away. With the bonus of having a private garage. Superb swimming pool. We were very fortunate that we were able to check-in early...and for that matter, were able to check-out later too as there were no new guests arriving. All our dealings with the staff, Andre, Marta and Nastassja at Atlantic Holiday was friendly, professional and accommodating. We were met on site by Andre who showed us how everything worked in the apartment and also the garage. Prior to arrival we received a Whatsapp message with videos of the apartment and how everything works, useful to have this in advance in case you are not being met at the apartment. Although there is on-going building work opposite the apartment, they were at a stage where it wasn't too noisy and with the windows closed you couldn't hear it. Sadly when this new development is complete it will block the view to the sea.

The apartment is on a busy junction and the traffic noise at night kept me awake as the bedrooms are on the road side. This is probably a minor point as my husband didn't notice the traffic noise at all. Were it not for this I would have scored this apartment 10.

Propreté impeccable de l'appartement et des parties communes. Emplacement idéal près des commerces, de la mer et des routes. Équipements complets, climatisation efficace.

Des petites choses faciles à améliorer : le grille pain est trop vieux, les plaques de gaz ne fonctionnent pas toutes, il manque des couteaux qui coupent car les fruits sont fabuleux à Madère ! Pas de chance pour la résidence : en face sur la vue Mer de gros travaux de construction sont en cours avec grues , camions et marteaux piqueurs tôt le matin (sauf le WE), on les entend fenêtres fermées dans le séjour mais heureusement pas des chambres.

Logement très grand, correspondant à la description. très propre et très bien équipé c'est vraiment rare! chambres très grandes , lits très confortables et salles de bain ultra clean! balcon très agréable, belle vue. La piscine est facilement accessible et très agréable, bref très bien et rapport: qualité prix imbattable! Enfin le quartier est très sympa, super boulangerie juste en bas de la résidence, parking bien pratique :)

Le logement à été remis 2 heures après prévu car le ménage avait du retard. Les clefs n'étaient pas à récupérer sur place mais à un endroit différent à environ 6km du logement. Des travaux juste en face qui occasionne du bruit en journée mais pas la nuit.
