The front desk staff members were very nice and helpful. Felt very clean.

If you have fragrance sensitivities, MCS, asthma, etc. this is not the place for you. The lobby was extremely perfumed smelling and our room was also very fragranced. We checked in and checked out shortly and found somewhere that doesn’t use fragrances like Marriott.

We arrived middle-of-the-night with 3 kids and our dog. There was a major issue with the reservation system and despite being checked in online, there was no room available. The bartender (Mel?) was absolutely amazing trying to help the desk attendant and us figure out a plan despite my spouse being rather difficult in the moment. Eventually, we found a solution and felt like the staff rolled out the red carpet for us the rest of the stay. They knew us and our dog by name during our 5-night stay, and we felt pretty special - but they did that for ALL the guests! We also had an unfortunate incident with the valet service and our bikes/bike rack the last night. We had some real hassle that evening, but the hotel staff and manager, as well as the valet service did what respectable companies do - they made it right. Human error/accidents happen, but when they do, it's how we respond that matters. Truly wonderful service. Clean, spacious rooms. Great breakfast variety each day. Lovely library area with games and extra lounging space separate from the bar area. If we're back in St Louis, we'd stay here in again in a heartbeat despite a couple challenging situations. We hope the hotel and all their staff are faring ok despite the recent tornadoes. Thanks for salvaging our family time in the face of challenges!

Only thing which would have made better is a pool/hot tub

Our family of five had a great long weekend in St. Louis with the hotel as a homebase. It is close to public transportation, easy to walk around Clayton, but parking is an extra charge per night if you bring your own car.

I love the location of this hotel- proximity to a grocery store (Straub's), local restaurants, Shaw Park, and WashU. This relatively new hotel was very nice and clean and quiet. We stayed on the 7th floor. The gym was comfortable and larger than other hotels we've stayed at. Breakfast was a nice addition. Plan to stay here again and would highly recommend.
