Nothing it's amazing
GBFabulous quirky little stop with stunning views over the valley. The host provided some lovely personal little touches including a hand written note detailing some of the quirks of the cottage. The decor is unique with lots of personal items of family history that they have kindly shared with guests. We were left with a tray of goodies which included local tea, butter and bacon and a tub of fresh ground coffee. The log burner was a the perfect cosy finish for a wet day. The most quirky little touch is the bar! The host has set up an honesty system to allow guests to have a few drinks on an evening with a donation box place in the cottage to help cover costs. Communication with the host was great and they're happy to help you with everything and anything you need. There is good quality WiFi and Freesat TV for the evening. For the musically inclined there is a piano with some turn off the 20th century song books to have a play with.
Loved the cottage, could do with a few more mugs for tea, unless I couldn't find them and personally the bed was too firm for me but this should not detract from the excellent experience of the cottage.
