Wat betreft de butler service en activiteiten streeft men hier echt naar perfectie. Enkele dagen op voorhand mag je voorkeuractiviteiten doorgeven. Zij maken een programma op en de dag voordien stemt men nogmaals af met gasten wat men wil doen de dag erna. Nog voordat je beseft dat je iets nodig hebt, zorgen zij ervoor. 10 minuten wachten? Zij zorgen voor een mimosa. Toch geen zin in volledige safaridag? Geen zorgen, we zetten fietsen voor jullie lodge zodat jullie op eigen tempo kunnen verkennen. Ze maken de kamer zelfs slaapklaar terwijl je aan het eten bent. Ik vond het fascinerend om te zien hoe hoog het niveau van hospitality was, mede dankzij Liz. Daarnaast was het eten geweldig (chef Aaron met ervaring in keukens over de hele wereld en duidelijk gepassioneerd). Ten slotte werkt er een gids voor het resort met 20 jaar ervaring (Jakes) waardoor hij ons met een eindeloze hoeveelheid anekdotes en weetjes kon blijven boeien. Ook het andere personeel was geweldig, speciale dank aan Nicole, Dimita en Melvin!

Er was een probleem met het water van onze lodge (dat kon niet heel warm worden). Dit was enkel met onze lodge en dus uitzonderlijk. Weet ook dat de lodge iets verder verwijderd is van Kruger Park (maar de game drives worden geregeld door de lodge dus daar moet u zich geen zorgen over maken)

The care and attention that the staff made to try make my stay perfect was very much appreciated. It is rare to find a bushveld property like this, where you can have your own private pool, giraffe and nyala outside your chalet through the day, and go mountain biking unescorted, and be able to afford the level of luxury. I really enjoyed how meals were served in different bushland settings around the property. There are multiple excursions into the surrounding areas on offer. Chef Aaron had delightful creations with African flavours on offer at every meal - Well worth selecting those!

Absolutely outstanding stay! The resort exceeded all expectations — everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly kind, always smiling, and truly professional. Our stay was marked by exceptional hospitality and genuine attention to detail. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Even a small mix-up regarding the nearest airport was quickly resolved with their help, as they recommended a car rental that worked perfectly for us. We arrived hungry after lunchtime and were immediately offered a quick meal, followed by a delicious dinner served in our room. My wife, who is five months pregnant, received outstanding care throughout our stay - from meals tailored to her dietary restrictions to special attention during tours, including extra blankets and more comfortable seating. The hotel also stands out for offering excellent non-alcoholic beverage options, which was a meaningful touch for us. The accommodations are flawless: comfortable, clean, modern, and with thoughtful details like pre-warmed sheets waiting for us after excursions. Our guided tour to Kruger National Park was led by a knowledgeable guide who made the experience even more enriching. Upon returning, our room was always tidy and welcoming. It was a memorable experience, defined by warmth, comfort, and attention to every detail. We highly recommend it

This lodge offers exceptional service! Our personal butler was absolutely outstanding. The private breakfasts with a lovely lady named Lucky were truly royal — the service was impeccable! Yannis kept changing the locations for our breakfasts and dinners, which made the experience magical every time. At our request, they organized a campfire in the wild and a picnic by the river — simply beyond words! You are the best, don’t ever change — everything was top-notch! The cuisine was excellent, and the house was extremely comfortable. Giraffes and other animals roam around the lodge — though we didn’t see any predators.
