Oase by 7 Star Lodges - Greater Kruger Private 530ha Reserve

I absolutely loved my stay at Oase! The staff were warm and welcoming, the facilities were top-notch, and the surrounding nature was stunning. The peaceful isolation made it the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend!

We booked Oase as a quick stopover on the way through from Nelspruit to the top of Kruger. We had no clue what to expect, but what we found is difficult to put into words. Enough though we were only at the lodge for about 10 hours, the staff couldn't do enough for us. From start to finish it was truly a special experience. The room we stayed in was apparently their cheapest room, but it did not feel cheap and was above almost every room we have ever stayed in before. The food was also superb - desert to die for! We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lodge and indeed we have changed out return flights from JNB so that we stop again on our way back and spend more time here.

Ironing services suck. The person who irons does a terrible job. Please rather provide Iron and Ironing boards for guests to do it themselves. Milk had expired 8 days ago Villas are private however every now and then there'll be someone walking past of nocking without notice. Poor Wifi connections, please outsource local connections as it's been a huge inconvenience to not be able.ro join Meetings due to connection. You can't have the same person that guides you make your coffee, mix your drinks etc. Get staff that specializes so the service can meet the expectations that you sell us. Was hoping for a spa treatment however everything it was outsourced which doesn't offer much flexibility as we are there for a few days and to be told they still need to call and check availability too much. The concept is nice but they need to rethink their service strategy and train their team on customer obsession. And treat all customers fairly. We were made to feel like we were give the accommodation for free, and they were doing us favor by offering certain services. Management needs to be included for service training too, poor response time and manner of approach. To travell 11 hours for the experience but to not actually experience any was proper waist of time and money. We could only watch a movie but the room was dirty and couldn't eat popcorn's as they tasted awful die to the oil used.. Yes it rain a bit here and there but all activity for canceled due to bad weather but some customers were allowed to still experience... extremely disappointed.

The staff, from Janus (the Lodge Manager) to our personal Butler (Kitso) and many more (Njabulo, Fanny, Noel, Given etc) were super helpful and their communication was excellent throughout our stay. The room (Chesterfield Suite) was very clean and well decorated and we even had giraffes pass by our room daily. The property offered many activities both within the property, such as Game Drives, Picnics, Mountain Biking, and outside the property such the Day Trip to Kruger Park with Soly from Bush Baby Tours which we would highly recommend. We also did the Treetop Sleepout which is also a truly unique experience. Would highly recommend staying at Oase by 7 Star Lodges!

We could have stayed LONGER but that was our own fault for having kids back in the US that we left behind. Next time, we won't leave the kids so we have NO EXCUSES to extend our stay!

I felt as though I’m in a 3 star lodge, I didn’t like everything about this place, the food was horrible, the staff is very friendly though and very informative

Staff, scenery, food and service were all great. Rooms are outstanding and the setting is amazing. The attention to detail by staff is like nothing we’ve ever experienced before. We even decided to extend our stay as we were enjoying it so much. The reserve they take you to for game drives is excellent, you see so much and up close.
