Le Merrill - Vieux Montréal

The hotel location is fantastic. You cannot beat that. Walkable area within steps from basilica and old Montreal. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Clean, comfortable , large space and remodeled apartment with modern, cool and tasteful decor. Beds were confortable. Great towels. Full kitchen although we didn’t use it. Overall we had a great time. Cons: a noisy building construction in front of the apartment during weekdays. Weird sewer smell coming from the bathroom’s pipes sometimes during the day (not sure if related with the construction). The bathroom sink was clogged and it took forever to drain, the closet light was burnt, the night table light didn’t work, the bedroom TV didn’t work either (the living room TV did work), there was no front desk and no housekeeping during our stay. Overall we loved our time there but we recommend a basic maintenance of the facilities to make sure they work properly.

Great location in the old part of Montreal. Room was big and had a nice view of the street bellow.

Right next to Notre-Dame Basilica. Loved having 3 queen beds.

Great property and perfect location. The only problem was the washroom had some pluming issues for sure, it stunk. My family refused to shower, we bought room spray to make things better. My sisters place didn’t have that problem.

Great location

Nice location and easy parking options near by. We didn’t like that there wasn’t easy communication during our stay so issues couldn’t be resolved; there wasn’t a roku remote for the tv so you couldn’t watch anything on it, the bed duvets were stained and didn’t have covers on them only sheets on either side and the rug n head boards also had stains.

Great location, very spacious

Unfortunately the kitchen was not fully stocked. No oven mitts, no dish soap, no baking pan. There was no bottled water left for us like the listing stated and the tap water did not taste good at all. The fridge was broken and not cooling due to ice buildup and all of our groceries spoiled. Handprints all over mirrors and windows, very dusty furniture. Communication was great during our stay but afterward when I asked if there would be any compensation for our spoiled groceries I did not hear back from them. The building itself is very nice and easy access to the downtown core. Shops and bars all easily accessed. Elevator was handy to have and underground parking was close enough to walk to and from.

Very convenient location in the old quarter. Room was very spacious and well-equipped for 'living in' if so desired (range top, large refrigerator, washer/dryer, etc.). Quiet street, easy walk to a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops and other attractions. Definitely would recommend to others.
