Beach Bum West-O Motel

Lots of Chanel’s in TV couldn’t be watched.

This was a very nice place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed every day that I was there. The pool was nice. The other guests were nice and the safe was fantastic.

This is a quaint old style motel. Grounds and buildings are kept up very nicely. The mattress could be updated but other than that this was a very inexpensive place to just lay our heads after along day on the beach.

The microwave is the only thing that wasn't good. It was worn and rusty looking inside. Was afraid to use it.

Staff was friendly, property was well managed and very clean. Loved the small dock and picnic area. Very quiet area. Stayed in motel room; small but clean, however walls are THIN and if you have active neighbors you definitely hear EVERYTHING. I do wish they had a little more of a breakfast selection such as bagels or muffins but they still offered something which is nice. Would definitely stay in cabin or cottage next time!

The ground was cleaner and more organized than anticipated. The room was small with barely any lights. It had a spot light which was hardly enough to light up the room. We had to use our phone flashlight to read the WiFi pass. The bathroom was clean. The only real problem was the mattress. I could live with the other things but the mattress was absolutely horrible. I knew the minute I sat down we weren’t going to have a good sleep. We tossed and turned the entire night due to the mattress having zero support. The pillows didn’t help. As the night went on, my neck, my back were in so much pain and discomfort, by the time we woke up, I thought I was paraplegic from the neck down. I kid you not. This place need to seriously invest in some good mattresses for their patrons. This is not acceptable. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. You will go in with ur whole body in tact feeling good, and walk out next day paraplegic.

Very nice place to stay my only complaint would be that you can’t change the ac temperature

The property is a little old and could use some updating. Breakfast was sparse, not many choices.

I like the property because of it being quiet and not in the middle of all the ruckus, coastal highway. Some things are walkable, definitely if you have a bike or an e bike. Some fast foods or available, whereas not available in town.
