Beach Bum West-O Motel

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was very clean and quiet. The pool and play area for the children are very well maintained. The only thing I would say is if they could open the breakfast an hour earlier; that would really be good for us early birds.

The property itself is nice right next to creek. The room was super small but clean.Just the basics, nothing special. They have a pool and a shuttle to the beach. All in all not a bad place to stay. I am going to somewhere bigger next time.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 days and it was a really nice time. The only reason we are giving it 4/5 stars is because our toilet seat was broken in our room and there is very minimal lighting. Wish there was one more lamp in the place. Overall the place was very clean and the nature outside was super pretty. I just wish I would’ve known how bad the bugs are, so bring the bug spray! There’s a public fire pit you can buy wood and chill out by the bay. It was really quiet yet close to so many restaurants and less than 10 min to the beach. The complimentary breakfast was communal and just really quaint and cute. We would definitely recommend!

Great place!

Room was neat and clean. There was far too much scent spray in the room which made it uncomfortable. The room was better on the second day when the scent lessened. Breakfast was not worth going to.. Pool was a nice temperature and grounds were well kept.

Being on the water and having fire pits was nice. A very convenient location.

I had no expectations at first, but everything surprised me. His workers were at 100. Help, information, clean all friendly. My stay was very nice. Thank you.

The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the motel was quiet . Not enough food at breakfast. I understand that people help themselves to more food if supply is bigger. However, do you want people to return? Here are some suggestions: a toaster , bread and jelly; more fruit ( bananas and blueberries can be used in oatmeal and cereal which you already provide.) ; and a bigger pitcher for milk. I believe these small upgrades will be more satisfying for your guests. Other than that, my stay was very pleasant and comfortable.

There’s plenty of parking, a peaceful atmosphere, and a location that makes getting in and out of Ocean City a breeze. If you’re expecting marble floors and room service, this isn’t your place. But if you’re looking for a no-frills stay with five-star comfort, service, and charm, Beach Bum West Motel delivers. Sometimes, basic done right beats luxury with attitude. This is that kind of place.
