Mt Nebo Railway Carriage and Chalet

Chalet was lovely overlooking the dam, very nicely decorated. Interesting repurposing of historical farm equipment. Loved the goldfish tank and water feature at the front door and chooks roaming. Private accommodation. Lovely hosts.

Bedroom was very hot ( very hot day and had to close windows with no screens due to insects). Took time for a/C to cool it at night, could have done with a fan in the bedroom. Mattress very firm could do with an overlay.

Great location, good communication, peaceful, cosy and charming chalet, good bed, good shower pressure, decent wifi given the area. Clean property, utilised the BBQ for cooking (no oven as per listing but there is a stove top) otherwise had all ameneties.

Absolutely everything. Right from the moment we arrived. My partner and I had under judged the fuel consumption driving up the mountain range and our tank was empty when we arrived. We were not aware the closest fuel station was 21km away. Glenn offered a Jerry can of fuel to get us to the station the next day. We were blown away by the owners helping 2 new guests who should have been more prepared. We loved the attention to detail, quaint, welcoming and amazing environment. Will be telling everyone about this amazing spot and definitely be coming back. Loved all of the unique metal art work all over the property

A lil cool in winter

So private and cosy, romantic and quirky…..little surprises everywhere…..we very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. Had a lovely chat to the owners who were extremely welcoming and wanting to make sure your stay is perfect.
