Oh my gosh the chalet is such a little haven! We stayed 2 nights and honestly could have stayed on forever quite happily! It's the perfect little tiny home, so thoughtfully put together with beautiful aesthetic details and a really ingenious, functional use of the small space. Lots of beautiful original iron-craft dotted around. (Try and find the hidden mouse's house! so cute!) The owners Glenn and Renee are absolute diamonds! Renee was so efficient with sending through handy info/responding promptly and Glenn was so warm and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. They made us feel completely at home. They gave us privacy but were also incredibly lovely to chat with when we saw each other. The property is positioned well in that you aren't woken up by the sun, but it gets the best afternoon sun on the deck. Ollie the dog is there to greet you along with all the chickens (with seeds provided if you want to make friends with them) and the birdsong is wonderful throughout the entire day, with a chorus of kookaburras serenading the sunset. We spent our time enjoying the sun and warm breeze, playing monopoly, having a bbq on the deck and feeding the chickens. Will definitely return. Xx

I have zero complaints! However if you aren't familiar with the area it might be worth noting that you will hear car zoomies from time to time, as it's nearby the tourist drive. The chalet is closer to the owners house (100m ish) so if you're looking for more 'disconnect' from others then book the railway room which is much further away

We loved this stay!

All the memorabilia throughout the carriage and amazing gardens. Finding all the rail spikes made into people and finding teapots all around the gardens.

The property was beautiful. I really enjoyed reading about the history of the farm and all the antiques placed everywhere…. They made for some interesting decorations…..

Nothing , was beautiful. Was at first disappointed I didn’t get to rent the carriage rooms as I thought I had . But they were at full compatacy so we had the chalet … it was perfect

Absolutely beautiful, hosts Glenn and Renee were awesome. Very helpful and left us alone to enjoy our stay.

It was a lovely peaceful 2 day getaway, host was very nice and helpful, property was awesome. Will be back, we stayed in the Chalet it was immaculate, very nice place to stay
