מיטות לא הכי נוחות

Esperienza pessima!!! Da sistema avevo prenotato due camere, una da 98 euro e l’altra da 126 euro (una camera doppia e una ad uso singolo) e, una volta arrivati in struttura, alla reception ci hanno comunicato che era stata bloccata una sola camera tripla. Questa è una vera truffa. Ad ogni modo, la struttura di Sorrento a cui si appoggia la compagnia Hotiday è il Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto che valuto positivamente in merito a posizione, gentilezza dello staff e camere.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The location was perfect—central and easy to get around. The property itself is very pretty and well-maintained. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

Great location and breakfast options

The location is excellent within 5 mins of what you might consider the main meeting point of Sorrento. The hotel having a pool and also a close location is even better. The roof itself, where the pool is, is a good space. Visiting in the busy period we always had a sunbed and because the hotel rent apartments nearby they're allowed use the pool if was still not busy. The breakfast is adequate and staff attentive. The hotel has an outside garden also which is a dry garden due to the general heat of the area.

The staff were mostly great although the lacking of replenishing items in the room was a tiny problem. After a lot of nights there with multiple rooms we frequently had to ask "can we please have" when the items should have been replenished. The main niggle for me was the Air conditioning. It didn't matter whether you set your room to 5 degrees C or 25 degrees C the temperature from the vent in all rooms remained the same. It was simply not cool enough. The staff said it is an Auto system. Somebody decided that possibly around 23 degrees was suitable. The outside was 38 degrees and the reception was around 21 degrees but the rooms always felt they were around 28 degrees. I also disliked the hotel pricing on the roof bar. The mini bar in your room was cheaper. Sockets/outlets in the room. Disaster. The kettle itself only worked behind the television which we had to plug something out. There were 4 things plugged in there. No other sockets worked. They were 3 pin sockets. Very hard to charge your own devices, use kettle. We would return but never in the height of summer as the local temperature coupled with a curious AC system was too much.
