Castiglione Family Apartment by Wonderful Italy

The definite biggest advantage of the apartment is its excellent location. The apartment is spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 7 people (4 adults and 3 children). We found everything we needed for our 2-night stay. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning, but thanks to the old building and keeping the windows closed during the hottest hours, we managed to maintain a bearable temperature. The fact that the property manager could significantly improve comfort by adding a fan to each room (there was only one) cannot be overlooked.

The apartment was clean, except for the bathroom, where there were a lot of cobwebs, and it definitely deserved a thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, I must admit that the property manager allowed us to stay in a place with serious safety issues. The bathroom door was barely set in its frame, and opening it risked it falling off. Additionally, the light switch in the bathroom was pushed into the wall with exposed wires, posing an electric shock hazard. The manager responded to our complaints and made temporary repairs within 24 hours, but for half of our stay, we had to deal with these issues on our own. I hope that the property manager will permanently address this problem; otherwise, someone's health or life could be at risk.

The location is perfect! There is a C bus that takes you from Bologna Centrale right to your doorstep:) There is a great gelateria opposite the house and a few cafes around. Plus it's a walking distance everywhere.

Just one set of keys for 5 people was a major disappointment, so were just 2 rolls of toilet paper. The windows overlook the backyard so be prepared for the acoustics at night and in the morning. Earplugs may help:)

We liked the coffee maker! We also liked the bidet. Loved the gelato place across the street, too.

Air conditioning would have made a huge difference in comfort.

The location is in a really nice area, a short walk to the city center. This place itself feels spacious and was comfortable for a family of 4, balcony was a plus.
