Salomone Apartments II by Wonderful Italy

La struttura si trova in un palazzo unico al centro di Ortigia con un piccolo balconcino molto suggestivo. Funziona tutto perfettamente e ha un bellissimo bagno anche molto grande.

La posizione della casa è eccezionale, nel cuore di Ortigia, ideale per esplorare l'isola. L'ambiente era fresco e la casa ben attrezzata.

Abbiamo soggiornato in due unità abitative. Mentre nell'altro appartamento sembra non ci siano stati particolari problemi (a parte una doccia intasata e un leggero odore di chiuso), nella nostra unità abbiamo riscontrato diversi inconvenienti: scosse elettriche dai rubinetti, doccia intasata con una perdita al lato e l’ombrellone in terrazza rotto (che abbiamo dovuto riparare noi). L'assistenza è stata pressoché assente e non ci ha fornito supporto per risolvere questi problemi, neanche quando per sbaglio abbiamo lasciato le chiavi all’interno dell’abitazione e non avevamo modo di entrare. Inoltre la pulizia generale della casa era un po' carente.

Très bien situé, à une minute à pied d’une adorable plage. À distance de marche de plusieurs points intéressants sur Ortigia. Une bonne marche de 25-30 minutes par contre de la station de train / terminal de bus. mais plusieurs petits bus circulent sur l’île pour vous y amener. la terrasse est plus qu’appréciable pour l’apéro (plein soleil le matin, mais plus agréable en fin de journée). Deux airs climatisées sont installées ce qui permet de refroidir plus qu’amplement l’appartement. L’ascenseur sur place est lui aussi un gros plus!

La douche ne draine vraiment pas bien et coulé sur le plancher de la salle de bain. Il y a parfois des odeurs d’égouts qui remontent en fin de journée. Nous devions garder la porte de la salle de bain du bas fermée la plupart du temps.

The flat felt a little damp

The apartments were great and the location was amazing.

Communication with the Wonderful Italy team was not the easiest. I wrote them in advance with questions a few times but didnt get any prompt answers.

The space was very nice and confortable. Everything was very clean. The location is excellent.

We loved everything about it. • central location but still quiet to get a good night's sleep • small beach just a few steps away • a big and private terrace • Olga doing the check in was very lovely • help with the allowance to drive into the limited area with the car to pick up our luggage

Nothing! Everything was fantastic.

We stayed in Salomone Apartments 13. The best thing about the apartment is the balcony at the top with views towards the Duomo on one side and the bay on the other and the peaceful area. A charming apartment. GianLuca was very helpful with check in.

It is difficult to know from the website photos which apartment you are renting. This one is on three levels with the bed underneath the stairs. This was fine for us but if you don’t want to climb two flights of stairs for the kitchen and living room it may not be for you. The hot water ran out at times but could be managed. Check in is managed by appointment with an agent so to find a suitable time you may need to arrange this early.

The location was fantastic

Unfortunately we had a lot of leaks when it rained badly. The floor wasn’t as clean as we would like.
