Location, at the bottom of a very steep hill. The double bedroom was on the third floor up some narrow stairs, near the good for an older couple with knee problems!

In the heart of the village, with good shower, comfy bad, smart tv and a dishwasher.

No parking or permit for the village as other rentals there. Parking was a 10-minute walk up the hill. Living room furniture was basic.

Ideal location. Right next to a pub and the beach.

The downstairs windows were very dirty, not just a few days of dirt. My wife spent the first half hour of our stay cleaning the windows and front door. We honestly could not see through them.The rear yard was unusable due to the amount of pigeon and seagull poo!! Not been cleaned for a long long time! Outside bin was also full when we arrived, so had no where to place or bin bags when they were full.

Location was perfect for me.

Minor detail but cushions need a wash both the sofa and individual ones.

This property is in a good central location by the harbour.

This property certainly doesn’t give you a warm welcoming feel. All the windows are dirty, covered in cobwebs and bird poop that clearly never get cleaned. The 2 very small sofas are stained, along with the rug that is dirty and look like dog hair left on it. The kitchen benches clearly hadn’t been sterilised with crumbs and what looked like chocolate raisins left for us to clean up.The dish washer is all rusted inside. The kitchen window and door looked out onto the back of the property and is heavily soiled with bird poo and hasn’t been cleaned for a very long time which was absolutely disgusting. We rescued 8 spiders that with hanging around in the cobwebs inside the property. Also the double bedding was stained and dusty pillows like the property had maybe been empty for a long time. I won’t be booking any properties with Host & stay in the future as I wasn’t happy about the £25 extra charge that I was required to pay 7days prior to my Arrival as the bill I had already paid to booking.com states that it included taxes and charges. I was then welcomed at the property with an email reminder that if I broke anything I must report it immediately to avoid any further chargers. This property certainly lacks an owners personal touch.

no instructions about heating/hot water systems. bedroom blinds could have been more light excluding - no curtains. having to pay separate insurance deposit fee not clearly mentionned when booking made which said no other fees applicanble. never had to pay a separate charge before over many years using booking.com
