Lures Hotel

We had an amazing time at Lures hotel. The location was great with a beautiful view and all the facilities were fantastic. We loved the boat service into Kalkan town and received wonderful service from all the staff who were friendly professional and attentive. Particular huge thanks goes to Satana at the beach club who was wonderful and always made sure that I was looked after with any drinks or food we needed. Araf and Gamze at breakfast were also particularly friendly and helpful thank you for a great stay

We had an amazing stay at Lures. The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond to make your stay special, nothing is too much. Accommodation was spectacular, we had a very large room boasting 2 toilets, 2 showers, a sofa and chair with balcony housing a large jacuzzi, 2 sun beds and a dining table, all very spacious. We had a high room which means you get the best views! The hotel offers buggy rides for those not wishing to ascend/descend the 150 steps from the top of the hotel down to the Beach Club, which arrive very promptly upon request. The hotel has one pool dedicated to hotel residents and another as part of the Beach Club which also has numerous access points by ladder into the sea. The hotel offers both a water taxi and shuttle bus into the old town which is a short ride away but means the hotel is peaceful and away from the noise of the town.

Firstly the service at Lures is second to none, everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay the best. Amazing spacious rooms, our room had 2 showers and 2 toilets, sofa and chair and a large balcony housing two sun beds, dining table and large jacuzzi. We had a high room so we got a spectacular view. Some of the lower rooms don’t have the view so aim high if you want the best view! There are numerous steps as it’s built into the hillside however the hotel provide buggy’s whenever you need them to get you around the hotel if you need it that arrive within minutes. The beach club is spacious with a pool and plenty of access to the sea (ladder only). The hotel also has a pool dedicated to residents which is a real bonus. The beach club is large and has plenty of access points to the sea (ladder only) which residents don’t have to pay for. The hotel has a daily water taxi as well as a shuttle bus that take you to the old town harbour where there are numerous shops and restaurants. Lures is situated outside the old town which means it’s quiet and away from the noise of the town.

There’s not much to dislike about Lures we had a wonderful stay.

Really stunning hotel with beautiful rooms each with magnificent views. With its own beach club attached where the best beds are free for hotel guests only. Great DJ on Saturday but mostly the vibe was relaxing. Staff were very attentive and helped regularly with the buggy service when a trillion stairs was too much in 32 degrees. Would definitely return.

We came here twice for the beach club and we had an amazing experience! They offer a free water taxi service from the harbour, and the staff are all excellent and friendly! Amazing service and the lunch was great too. Highly recommend :) Will be coming back again next year!

Lovely views, spacious clean room, nice infinity pool, well functioning buggy service and the boat shuttle to Kalkan was also nice.

The food and non-alcoholic beverages offered at the hotel is not up to standards both in terms of selection and quality. Prices also seems to be inflated compared with what we experienced in other hotels. There is an urgent need to upgrade the website for the menus. Currently these lack photos, are riddled with pop-up ads and are not in line with what is actually available. It gave us a very amateurish first impression of the food service in the hotel. Breakfast was unfortunately very disappointing as well (e.g. served orange juice that was anything but fresh, poor selection of bread and warm dishes and often unappetising presentation including fruit that had gone bad). There seems to be a lack of training and proper management of staff, resulting in service levels varying a lot. Some are very friendly, but some also deal with you without proper attention and a lack of hospitality. As a guest observing the dynamics between staff (including what seems to be a manager/supervisor and other staff) was at times odd. I felt I was at times witnessing negative supervision and correction of staff in broad daylight. Unfortunately, the place seems oddly dead and eerie after 6 pm. With what is currently offered it is understandable that many would prefer to «escape» to Kalkan almost every evening. A lot of space could have been better used to make the most of it (as an example the space with a sofa in front of the entrance to out door had no practical use and felt sterile and unwelcoming). As a rather new hotel it is concerning that several of the sunbeds with curtains in the beach club area already seem quite worn and not properly maintained.

We spent several days at the Lures Hotel Beach Club in Kalkan and were thoroughly impressed. The setting is absolutely beautiful — crystal-clear water, comfortable loungers and a relaxed, premium atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the service, which was flawless from start to finish. A special mention goes to Hasan Altay, the Food & Beverages Manager, who was always present, professional and clearly takes pride in making sure everything runs smoothly. The whole team made us feel welcome and well looked after — especially Berivan, always smiling and full of warmth, along with Satana, Huriye, Agit, Fatih and Araf, who were all attentive, friendly and consistently brilliant. Even though we weren’t staying at the hotel, we were treated like VIPs every day. Can’t recommend Lures enough — we’ll definitely be back!

What a fantastic hotel. Firstly we must mention the staff. All the staff were so helpful and kind, they work so hard and are extremely attentive to all their guest's from both inside and outside of the hotel. A special thank you to Araf who helped to make our holiday so special. Emir at the pool bar was also excellent and Huriye made us smile. The beach club is the best in Kalkan, the rooms and the infinity swimming pools are tastefully designed and extremely clean. Great holiday, fantastic hotel and superb staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kalkan. We will be back. 😎 Ian and Joy
