Sotto la Rocca is set on the top of a ridge with the most amazing views of the valley, giving you the pure essence of Tuscany. The apartment has a huge bathroom and amble space for a family of four. With a car it’s easy to visit other towns within the region including Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Sienna. The town centre is a few minutes walk where you can find a number of places to eat. Our host Jacopo made sure we had everything we needed and was kind enough to tell us about their family’s production of olive oil and wine. We loved our stay here!

The room and the bathroom were large and well designed. The wifi worked. The manager was very responsive. Great views of the surrounding countryside. It’s a great value.

I thank Jacopo for his hospitality. He is a wonderful host who handles any issue, and it’s a pleasure to talk to him about anything. He has delicious wine made by his family — I highly recommend buying and tasting it. The house is very comfortable, perfect for both short and long stays. If I come to Florence again, I would gladly spend my time here once more. Thank you, Jacopo — I’ll be happy to see you again!

The location (we needed to be in Prato and it was very close), the view from the terrace was amazing and perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine, which was available for purchase in the room. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The host Jacopo was very responsive to any questions or problems we had. He gave us a lot of suggestions on restaurants, sights, etc. Sadly, we didn't get to meet him. But he sent instructions to make sure the virtual check-in went ok.

Parking is a bit cumbersome, but you are in a small old hill town, so it's a given. Also, navigating the narrow alleys to get to the property, especially with a larger car.

The view is fantastic.

Finding the location for the first time was a challenge, but once found not a problem.

Great location in a small town with nice restaurants, an hour from Firenze. Amazing views from the terrace and Jacopo is very accomodating. Looking forward to coming again.

Could add a showerhead stand to the bath.

This is the most amazing place on earth we've ever been to. If you're looking for a luxurious living plus the ultimate experience of Tuscany authentic vibes, this is the place. Magnificent view of the valley overlooking vineyards and Olive trees, where you can stroll in the afternoon. Ultra clean, spotless accommodation with immaculate touch. Jacopo was the most friendliest and welcome host we've ever come across, who was always reachable and flexible and wound go an extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. Even before the beginning of the stay, Jacopo was sending me all the details about the accommodation, how to get there, the wineries around and all the information you can imagine. If you could imagine the ultimate hospitality, you could anticipate it from this amazing place. Further, me and my family with two children were on our way and we went on a pothole and two tyres were flat and Jacopo was so kind to send his dad to that location to give us a lift with all our baggages and didn't ask us to pay a penny extra. We will remember you for the rest of our lives, Jacopo's dad, such a lovely man, we regret that we couldn't say goodbye, but we found your lovely car by the parking bay, and we said goodbye, Lol. The WiFi air con beds and facilities were more than which was described and there was a lovely wine offered to us in checking in. BTW, Don't forget to visit this winery Fabrizio Pratesi Winery (Via Rizzelli, 9, 59011 Carmignano PO, Italy) which is just 6 minutes drive. You'll get an Unforgettable experience.
