Access road is a little steep & twisty… But the views are worth the journey

We have decided to live a bit in the country but still close to Fierenze! The apartment/house is just beautiful! the view from the terrace and the surroundings are just perfect! We really enjoyed our stay! The property manager was friendly and very helpful! Highly recommended!

Some plates, fork’s & knives would be great to have in there but not a big issue!

The scenery at the property was amazing, such beautiful views over the Tuscan countryside. The property had everything we needed for our one week holiday. The travel destinations and tips from Jacopo were spot on! We travelled to Florence and Siena for day trips. The fact that the family showed us their winery at the property made our stay such a delight!

The place is very nice and clean, with an amazing view. The family who hosted us is also very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful experience at Sotto la Rocca.

The whole setting and atmosphere are amazing. Starting from the incredible view to the beautiful rustic accommodation that blends in with the surroundings. Everything was perfect. A beautiful place to truly experience Tuscany. I highly recommend it.

The location is great, very close to Florence (20 min by car). The property is beautiful, clean and provides everything you need for a perfect vacation. You can have your own breakfast on a terrace with breathtaking Toscanian view. Morover, the host is very nice and keeps permanent contact with guests. From the very moment, even before arriving, we received all the useful information we needed: how to find location, where to park, where we can eat, which are the best ways to travel to Florence, what other places to visit in the proximity. In one word it was PERFECT!

Yes, road to the apartment could be better, but once you handle it once, its not a big issue after that. Yes, view is fantastic. Day or night, sun or rain. It is much better than you can imagine and it will surely take your breath away each time you set your eyes on it. Apartment is big enough for four, clean and kitchen has everything you need. WiFi working flawlessly. But the best about this property are its owners. Jacopo and his family made us feel welcome and safe. Whatever question we had it was replied swiftly through WhatsApp. Jacopo also gave us many good tips on what to visit (to visit Siena was an excellent tip), where to park in Florence and so on. Also, we had an issue with a car battery and needed a replacement. We got pointer from Jacopo where it is best to buy one so we resolved that issue easily. Florence is 30-40 minutes away Pisa: 1 hour Livorno: just more than an hour Siena: cca hour and a half (but really worth a ride) I would recommend this property to my friends and family. Hope to come back again one day.
