Weak wifi in the room and dinner service takes hours

We liked everything. The staff is very friendly and we felt taken care of. The food in the restaurant was very good. The hotel has a nice design and it's clean. We would recommend to anyone!

Almost everything was perfect

Fabulous hotel. But we had 2 very bad events. The day we arrived, the lady at the reception managed to the hide my wife's wallet behind her computer ( my wife had let the wallet on the desk to come to see us for just a minute ). We looked for it during almost 10 minutes and finally my wife had the idea to look for it on the desk of this lady. And the wallet was there, mostly hidden by a piece of paper. She was shocked and just took the wallet from there and we went to the room. Looking into it, she thought that a 50 euros bill was missing but was not sure of it. The day after, I opened the safe of the room to take some notes from my wallet and discovered that about half of my notes were missing. So either during our first day of arrival or the day after, someone was able to open the safe in our room and stole money ( around 600 euros and about 200000 Tanzanian Shillings ). We were completely shocked because that is the very first time where we are stolen something that we put in the safe of the room. My wife especially was stressed by this and for the rest of our stay we had to keep our bag and money with us all the time which was really annoying. Of course, we asked to see the manager ( Maurizio ) to tell him about all this. He was very kind and apologized for what the lady did at the reception on our arrival. But he had absolutely no explanation for the robbery in the safe. The day we left, Maurizio had prepared an enveloppe with 50 dollars to refund us for what was eventually robbed in the wallet at the desk. But we were not sure at all if this money was missing or not so we let it to tip the nice employees. Overall a fabulous place with great service and great people but unfortunately there must be only one dishonest person stealing and this could ruin your stay there. I think that I will come back at the Alma. But I will keep my money with me and will be very careful about it.

outstanding ocean view rooms surrounded by nature and beaches offering unbelievable variations of scenarios because of tides, elegant swimming pool in front of the ocean, very kind staff and direction, very good looking restaurant, good food...exceptional accomodation.

Restaurant service is a bit green, slow in general, but as it happens in most places

Absolutely stunning and right on the beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and they made us feel so special on our honeymoon
