Ngampilan Backpacker Hostel

We enjoyed being in an area with the locals and not surrounded by the tourists. The couple who own the property were very helpful. Excellent recommendations for local food to try! We were grateful for the Gudeg recommendation! Very welcoming and friendly. Great vale for money.

There were a few questions about the local sites that they couldn’t answer which I was surprised about. I passed on all the information I found out though so that should be solved now. Expect family home clean not hotel clean. We didn’t mind at all but just an fyi.

The owners were lovely, they helped with everything.

The bathroom was very rustic, the room’s window didn’t have glass and the bed had no sheets only one small blanket.

Friendly host, clean and comfortable hostel that is located right in the middle of the artistic city. A good place for those who like to visit ArtJog and explore the neighborhood of the Ngampilan.

the area is a bit quite. you have to walk a bit or take the scooter to the center.
