Golden Dreams Inn

Close to downtown. Comfortable bed. Clean. Very helpful staff. When I called, they had me down for a different date, but my confirmation information had the right date. Lilli was extremely helpful and got us a room right away. We really appreciate her help. We’re also glad they had a room available since it was Thanksgiving night. We don’t know why there was a discrepancy between our dates of stay. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Bathroom window needed some sort of shade. Place wasn't very appealing from the outside front .

Charming hotel with clean and well furnished room. Clear communication from hotel host. Parking was easy.

Nothing in particular, everything was fine. Since there is no front desk and no staff on site, it feels a little more impersonal than your average hotel.

Location, access, and private, two thumbs up! Temp was easily controlled. Room layout and period style were pleasing. Dining table and dishes helped us relax in private.

The coffee maker had used cup in it. Coffee provided but I was there two night. Should be stocked for two over two nights. Garbage in waste bucket, open salsa in the fridge. 1 fork only. Foam bed couldn’t stay asleep.

The location is an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops in downtown but be careful with the cars coming on or off the freeway when the traffic is busy.. The bed was very comfortable with soft bamboo sheets. There is a clawfoot tub which was wonderful if you like to soak in a nice hot bath. Even though you are close to the freeway it was very quiet. . Diego's across the street is a lovely latin restaurant. Good food and nice to sit outside on the patio.

Be aware that there are steep stairs to all the rooms which are on the second floor. They do mention on their website that the property is not a good fit for someone with mobility issues.

Looks old, ,but very modern accommodations. It was comfortable, quiet and clean. Second time staying there and highly recommended it.
