Residence Inn Rochester Mayo Clinic Area South

Beautiful brand new hotel with pool and great outdoor spaces. We had kids with us who enjoyed the pool and access to a bike path nearby along the river. There was also a Buffalo Wild Wings and Panera bread in this development which made things super convenient. Shuttle was great to get downtown and to Mayo. Staff was awesome. Will stay here for future visits!

The new Residence Inn South is the best hotel I have stayed at in Rochester. The hotel is clean, the staff is amazing and caring. The free shuttle service is a bonus, they take you anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel. The pool, fitness center and outdoor patio are so wonderful to use and clean. The breakfast has a wide variety of items that you do not see at standard hotels. I was here for a Mayo Clinic appointment and this will be the only hotel I stay at when I return to Rochester! 10 STARS!

My husband and I have been at the Residence Inn South in Rochester, MN since 9/28 (through 11/13) so I feel qualified to offer compliments. First, this is a very clean hotel. The housekeeping staff, with special appreciations for the people who maintain the halls, laundry, lobby, etc. do a superb job. My second compliment goes to Jeremy. He knows all the jobs here—desk, shuttle, whatever needs to be done he is there with a cheerful demeanor and knowledgeable background. Great asset having an employee who is flexible and experienced. Terrance is a positive presence and is also a valuable presence for the shuttle, accommodating many unexpected requests. Diane, at the desk, always kind, good natured, and never stops, works to help keep the lobby immaculate as well as covering the desk. She is a doer also. Great people keep this hotel a wonderful place to stay, a breath away from the Mayo hubbub but an easy, ten minute trip to appointments.

An absolutely amazing experience with first class hospitality. My wife and I booked a block of rooms for our wedding and the conference room for our rehearsal dinner. The Residence Inn went above and beyond our expectations in every single way. The staff were phenomenal. The breakfast is top notch. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall it was such a positive experience. We want to provide an especially huge shout out to Andy Thilges! Andy's hospitality is second to none. Whenever we had a question or needed assistance he was responsive, incredibly genuinely interested in helping us, and truly cared that we and our guests had an excellent experience. Thank you again Andy! Book this hotel for all your needs, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Residence Inn for providing such a wonderful experience, we will never forget it.

We requested a handicap room for my Mom & it was perfect handicap accessible and the bed was low so she was able to get into bed easily. Great job. Very nice room. We will be back!!

This hotel canceled my reservation and have not refunded my card.

I arrived for check in and the gentleman at the front desk told me that they had someone that needed my room , they canceled my reservation but have not refunded my card. I can’t get anyone to help me, I’ve spent hours trying to get this resolved.

We stayed here for my wedding weekend, and it truly made everything so easy. When we left for the ceremony and returned after the reception, the room was beautifully decorated with candles and rose petals—it was such a thoughtful touch that made our wedding night feel incredibly special. I highly recommend this place for anyone celebrating their wedding.
