Residence Inn Rochester Mayo Clinic Area South

Were there for an appointment at Mayo Clinic. We drive, but the hotel had a shuttle to the clinic which I thought was great! Breakfast was included and free parking. On the other side of the parking lot is an Asian restaurant, and Panera Bread. Shopping nearby. It was all nice.

We had a fabulous stay at the residence in Rochester Mayo Clinic area. If you have to be at Mayo for four days, it sure is great to have a fully stocked kitchen, big living area with a terrific work desk and a comfy bedroom and well designed bathroom. And did I mention that it is connected to the wonderful Mayo underground subway. If you know, you know…😎 Kayce at the front desk was amazing. So accommodating and energetic. I didn’t get her name, but the older woman who supervises the extensive breakfast was also helpful and fun. Thank you all for making our stay as wonderful as it could be.

Overall the property’s ambient temperature was cold! The staff was wonderful!!! Especially Casey (front desk) who was very very helpful on where to dine and sight seeing. Casey. as a Marriott face to customer, is warm, amazing, friendly and a wealth of information (sight seeing, restaurants, directions, etc)!!!’ Another person who deserves mentioning was Cheryl who was in charge of preparing the food. She was well organized. always busy, friendly too and responsive to requests and needs. She is a keeper. Let me add too: Dan Knoke who I emailed with a question responded quickly and thoroughly. Thanks Dan! How nice. The location served us well for my Mayo appointments and exploring the city. Hail Casey!!!! Now on the other hand, the TV: the banner at the top of the screen never reflected my Titanium Elite status (see attached pic) and TV guide (again see pic) did not give more details on the channel (“no show information”) which was a bit frustrating as we were determining what to watch. Also housekeeping was not keeping up with us: as we repeatingly were requesting towels, fresh-ups and coffee. Despite all of this we will be back to this property when Mayo calls again!

Andy, Nikki and staff best hospitality ever! Made sure every need was met at the Residence INN. Highly recommend:) Guest arrived and greeted with poster of the couple and wedding arrangements for the venue ceremony. Romance sweet gorgeous! Wedding and family stay was fabulous. Thanks to everyone involved with our stay.

This was an experience that resulted in us planning our next trip/stay in Rochester. While there, we had the workout room/pool to ourselves. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of options for my family. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

My room wasn’t ready upon my arrival and once I did get into the room 45 minutes late it wasn’t very clean- I was too exhausted from traveling there and just used my own travel Clorox wipes from my car to avoid further delays. Once settled in, it was a wonderful stay. It was in close proximity to restaurants, they had a shuttle to the clinic, etc.

Fily the check in clerk was fabulous. Extremely helpful and attentive. Great place to stay when in from out of town. Would go back.
