A great little spot. Very nice cottages with a pool. Close to the beach. Cooking facilities on site. Board rentals. Restaurants nearby.

"Simple and quiet"

We loved the quiet past of Blue Surf Sanctuary. It is outside the hustle and bustle of Santa Teresa, but beware, as other reviewers have mentioned, you will still hear some street noise. You have everything you need steps from the hotel including a coffee shop, beach access, an a decent restaurant. Also the owners have an honestly snack and drink bar in the kitchen which was very nice to grab water or a beer. The one thing that surprised me was that we did not see our host at all during our stay. However she was very accessible through booking.com messages so it wasn’t really an issue.

Proximity to beach. Nicely appointed spaces.

Traffic noise! Booking through bookings.com. Staff sent entry instructions via bookings which were not received nor retrievable. Thankfully found a staff member at the restaurant down the street or we would have been sleeping in the rental car the first night.
