"Frühstück an Deck <3 unvergesslich"

10.0

"Fun stay in Bremen"

9.0

Such a fun place to stay for a night in Bremen. Surprisingly roomy onboard (although I still hit my head a couple of hundred times - I'm only 5'5 so maybe not the best fit for someone tall). Check in was pretty smooth and lots of information given although some of it could have been a little clearer. The bedrooms are small and you can't shower/toileting is limited on board, but that is all made clear in the listing. Parking was a few minutes' walk away and cost €10 for the night. We had dinner at El Mundo restaurant, about 60 seconds from the boat, which was very good. Appreciated the recommendations for food etc provided, always helpful. There's also an Aldi a few minutes' walk away. Shower/loos in the marina were clean and pleasant to use. Cords coffee shop were great for breakfast and very friendly.

Some of the information could have been clearer - I would have appreciated maybe some printed info on board (with pictures!) because scrolling through a long message on my phone wasn't always the easiest. Eg the two passwords given for the wifi were both wrong (it's actually written on the back of the router) and it took me a while to figure out how to flush the loo and where the marina with showers/loos was (Google maps told me it was in the middle of the water) - these things are probably obvious if you live on the boat full-time but took a newbie a little while to figure out. It would also have been helpful to know we shouldn't drink the water onboard before I drank the water onboard (the message mentioned a drinking water pump, so I assumed it would be fine) - Bremen was experiencing a heatwave when we stayed and we had very little water with us, so maybe carry a few bottles with you. Also, in common with many other European cities, I think you now need an emissions sticker to drive into central Bremen. Oh also my son cut his finger on some frayed wire while climbing on board, so look out for that!
