Segelyacht Bremen City

Fantastic location and really fun to stay on a boat.

We didn’t mind (part of the experience!), but visitors in winter should expect it to be chilly. Plenty of blankets are provided.

It was a lovely 32 footer, with accommodation for all the family. The location was lovely, the car park was about 300m from the marina. The main washroom is to the back of the restaurant (with pink lights) down a set of metal steps at the back. We all had a great nights sleep rocking gently.

Everything was great, the toilet can only accommodate liquid waste. Everything else involves a 80m walk to the washroom. Showers take 50c coins. You will bang your head in the boat.

Unique experience the children loved it. Beds were comfy. Toilet/ showers were clean and pleasant. Felt safe in the area.

The toilet smelled really bad on board and the cooler box is a real trip / fire hazard. The fridge needs to be fixed instead of this. Could do with some form of blinds too as the whole boat is bright all night long.

The boat is really cute! It's a great experience to sit on the deck and hang out in the evening or have breakfast in the morning. We had lovely weather so that was of course an added bonus. The area feels a bit remote, even though it's not far from the city center, but that just means that it's nice and quiet :) There's restaurants and an Aldi very close by.

We had some problems with a cooling box that didn't work and an inexplicably empty water tank, which was a bit of a downer for the first night ( especially since my daughter got food poisoning and was throwing up - and we had barely any running water that night, and no sleep!) However, the owners fixed the water the next day and after that it felt like a straight up luxury to have running water!!

All was fine. Using description was easy to find. All needed was on board. The internet connection was very poor.

We loved everything! The feel about the place. The details. The location was great too (Straßenbahn stop a few mins walk that took us straight into the centre of Bremen). The quiet in the evening was wonderful. Aldi nearby too for snacks for our games evening on board! Shower facilities were just a few mins from the boat too!

The having to go to the toilet in the docks at night was a tiny bit inconvenient with the kids - but it was only for "big" business so fortunately we didn't have to do this often :)
