wonderful experience, great location in the harbor, lots of cycle routes, near to local pubs!

personally I didn't like the toilet facilities on the boat, they flushed directly into the sea,( number 1's only !) this may be the done thing on a boat but being a wild swimmer I want to clean up the sea not add to the sewage going into it. saying that the toilet block was only a short walk and they were very clean.

Heidi showed us around the boat, very friendly. The boat was so well equipped.

Having to walk to the showers in the morning was a pain, but expected as the boat is just a boat. However, the shower rooms were spotless and well equipped.

A really lovely little boat with everything you need for a short stay. Might not be so great for tall people. Absolutely gorgeous location with good food and lovely walks on the doorstep. For a longer stay I think I would have found they lack of shower and toilet arrangements a bit of a drawback. But for a weekend it's glorious.

Superb location, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Particularly appreciated the little touches such as milk in the fridge, nice warm linen and a little Christmas tree. Location is excellent - the view on a clear day would be amazing, all the way across the Solent. The nature reserve is beautiful for walks by the sea. We had a very good dinner at the Mayflower pub. The boat was very warm, with plenty of headroom by marine standards and a practical layout for a couple with two children. Both cabins are en-suite which is great for a family. Marina facilities are excellent - main showers seem brand new, like a high-end hotel, and everything was spotless. You should plan to use the marina facilities for showering and only use the on-board toilets for nighttime (they were also spotless but sea toilets and showers are very basic - think camping a float). There was ample parking and luggage trolleys. The marina was quiet and peaceful although it was off-season, and if you are not used to boats then please be aware that all waterside lodging has noise from wind in the rigging and sea movement - I find personally find this relaxing but if you need silence to sleep, then you may not.
