Motor Yacht Sea Wolf

Location was very peaceful and quiet, we were exceptionally lucky with the weather. The boat was very clean and comfortable enough for us. Everything we needed was on board. Facilities at the marina were very good, which was great because the bathroom and toilet facilities on the boat were really only for use as a back up.

Felt that boat owners like to keep to themselves, but the odd few like to have a chat. Not that this really matters.

A fun alternative place to stay for two nights. Good space for family of four with amazing views across the Solent. Hotel quality on-land facilities and restaurant.

We had a lovely time, the boat is very well kitted out with everything we needed and the marina facilities were very good. We would definitely go back again. Ollie was incredibly welcoming, helpful and contactable should we need it. We went for the seafood festival so great location, 10 min walk but spent most evenings on the boat, sitting on deck in the morning and evening was wonderful. A local recommendation - The mayflower pub a short walk away does very nice breakfast.

We were a party of 2. We didn’t appreciate how compact it would be and definitely a squeeze if there were more than 2.

First time staying on a boat. A great experience

Loved the quirkiness of being on a boat, the view is wonderful across to the Isle of Wight. The proximity to lovely walks along the sea wall or in the other direction along the river to the town, both great. My stay was during February so there were hardly any other boat people around and it was totally peaceful. I found Russ a very welcoming host and he explained everything very well when I arrived. Lots of nice extras in this property like the coffee machine with pods, milk and tea provided. Also ingenious ways of cooking in such a small space, eg the portable induction hob - such a great idea!

The description of this property should say that to have a shower you need to walk outside and along the jetty to a shower block - also the host suggested I should go there if I needed a poo. It says there is a bathroom and a shower, which there is not (apart from a hand held shower spray at ground level, by the toilet). It also said there were electric blankets which I could not find and really did need at night.

Beautiful setting, great decor, well kitted out. Great host.
