Larkhill Tipis and Yurts

The location is brilliant and the owners lovely.

Toilet just stunk the whole time.. drifting down to the Tepee. The beds were so uncomfortable, 2 on a slant and 2 of the 3 had back ache. Car park area could have been slightly better - Another guest opened their car door into my car. The blankets smelt foisty. Other guests took over the communal areas - This made it very uncomfortable to just to charge your phone or use the facilities. It was like walking into someone else’s kitchen. I wasn’t going to do a review as it is what it is - but I’ve been emailed a few times asking.

The whole area is fantastic. The yurt was comfy and cosy in the rain and the community between tents was brilliant

The owners were really friendly and welcoming. We felt safe and comfortable at all times. It is a beautiful site and I can’t fault the whole weekend. My children could have easily stayed playing on site in the forest all day if we hadn’t gone to loca attractions. Plus there are some very cool sheep.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle, quiet, only nature to be heard. Everything other than food and towels provided (we paid extra for the bedding) We had cooking facilities in our yurt, a bbq area just outside but if you want to be social, there was also a communal cooking and seating area.
