Llechwedd Glamping

The tents are very well equipped and very comfortable. The children found them great fun to stay in as they liked the bunkbeds. The stove helped keep us warm.

The view from the tents was straight into the slate mine, and whilst it is convenient staying close to Zipworld it felt like we were staying in Zipworld. It therefore did not have the feel of being in the beautiful mountain scenery that I had expected from the photographs. The tents are very exposed on the hillside, and I had not appreciated that this meant that there was often a cold wind even when it was warmer further below.

Accommodation was outstanding. Owners had thought of everything inside. Log burner made it cosy on a night. It's very quirky and clean. We all loved it. The location was excellent.
