Swamp Fox luxury 2BR Dutch Barge

It was a nice outlook Nice kitchen and lounge area

The BBQ was filthy and couldn't use it There were no tissues supplied When you go to a luxury accommodation there are usually tea bags to choose from. Only camomile.... The place was not at all dog friendly as they suggested. There was an awkward gang plank that swayed against the water. I had to hold the dog every time. The Jetty was not right up again the boat. The host abused me when I left the feedback in the host book by calling me an "ungrateful peice of shit" and then hung up. This place was not given to me for free. I paid $775 for 2 nights. We travelled from Angle Vale to Goolwa for this trip .... I have stayed at alot of places & luxury means luxury with standard amenities

Delicious breakfast provisions .

It was unfortunately a very hot weekend so the bedrooms were quite warm . Beds obviously a bit smaller than we are used to but comfortable .

Stunning view unique experience

Having to watch the water level constantly and not feeling comfortable to use the bathroom due to tank water level. Also as a group of 4 for a two night stay. Breakfast was milk 8 coffee pods 4 croissant and four rolls with jam and butter. They also supplied water and juice which were appreciated. But not really enough coffee had to go buy that and not really much of a breakfast personally.

If you’re asking it would have been lovely to have a few simple foods provided but really we loved our stay. It was great!

- It is a boat ! - Fully equipped for self caterer - Choice of indoor & outdoor seating areas - very responsive host - clear information provided about onboard facilities - view of nearby waterbirds and seals

- need to convey luggage tens of metres from carpark to boat, across a grassed area.

Once on board couldn’t fault,lovely peaceful stay Luxurious detailed -every thing was on point

Where we had to Park our car -felt uncomfortable leaving it a distance from accommodation and not be able to see it!! It was quite away to take our language also -(this is only a temporary park we were not told about -normally wouldn’t have been an issue) but purposely prior to booking -I did ask!! could we see our car was told yes!!!- the works blocking the road -we should have used -has been on going a lot longer than 2week and definitely felt they would have known this -left me feeling very disappointed.
