Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella

Being Christmas and our host away, breakfast was not available and we took all our own food to prepare and eat in our dedicated kitchen. The Ger (Yurt) was a unique experience, with authentic Mongolian flavour and 36 sq.mts. of generous space. Beautiful walks with stunning views began from the property, with a one km walk to store/café and easy drive to numerous points of interest, especially the Gem Shop!

There was nothing NOT to like as we knew to expect a semi-camping experience with outdoor, covered kitchen (exclusively ours) and shower/toilet shared with the nearby “tree-house” guest couple.

Nice location

March flies. Maybe bring some kind of repellent. No milk so make sure you bring milk. The guests in the treehouse walk past your front door to access creek, so not really private. I think also they may use the outdoor furniture. Toilet is outside and shared. These aren’t dislikes just observances.

Nature environment and yurt facilities

Ebony is a wonderful host with a deep knowledge and passion for the park. The property has quick access to Purlingbrook falls and is just such a magical location. The yurt was comfortable, the creek was cold and the spot to sit for a morning coffee was pure bliss.
