Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella

A unique and peaceful stay in the Yurt, surrounded by nature right in the National Park. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with beautiful views of the gardens and creek. Plenty of outdoor seating, a fire pit, wild animals and a very kind host who made us feel welcome & comfortable and genuinely looked after. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful nature retreat. Thank you very much!

The fireplace in the Yurt needs maintenance (it had cracks in the glass and didn’t close properly) - a fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detector would give extra safety. The bathroom is shared, not private as stated online. With these small fixes, it would easily be a 10/10 experience.

What a lovely unique room to stay in. The host is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Even helped me stoke up the fire again when i nearly killed it. The log fire keeps the room warm. When you wake up in the morning, the room is cold but it's still toasty warm under the covers. There's a path next to the carpark for a 5 min walk to the top of Purling Brook Falls. Breing surrounded by nature was so relaxing. The showers are outdoors too, but i had my shower while it was still daylight to avoid the cold night air. - In the summertime it wouldn't be a problem.

No microwave oven - so don't bring ready made meals that require a microwave or oven. It only has a gas cooktop or bbq. It is quite cold in the mornings or after dark, so cooking outdoors makes it interesting. Probably best to organise a meal that the host offers for an extra cost.

The Mongolian Yurt is an experience. Everything is fairly close. Ebony is exceptional, makes everything simple to access. Everything you need is there. A very well thought out experience.

The photos do not capture the full experience. So much to do, not enough time to enjoy. Have to book again.

Such an amazing location and place to stay! Absolutely loved every minute of it as did the kids :) Such a cool and unique place to stay!
