Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella

Beautiful experience in the scenic region of the Purlin Brook Falls, very comfortable, and also surprisingly good amenities. The fire pit was also a real feature.

I consider it a ‘glamping’ type experience and as such the lack of more formal amenities was fine. Access was a few stairs but it was also easily managed.

Incredible place.

The location was wonderful. The yurt is beautiful and it was nice to stay somewhere different to the usual. The bed was very comfortable.

If you are bringing food bring it in a plastic container. We brought in some sealed food and a mouse got in and ate it. The kitchen could do with a good clearing out, tidy and an audit of what's there and things replaced to fill the gaps. Some things like plates are in plastic tubs to avoid animals and insects getting on it, but other things like cutlery are not covered and they had gotten very dirty. We had no hot water the first night, but the owner fixed it the next day when she got notified. I did feel like the owner could see us from their house and that made me feel uncomfortable.

The property was so magical and spiritual, our host ebony was so helpful & lovely as well!

Be prepared to shower with a spider or go to the outdoor toilet with a spider ahahhah. They’re friendly but big
