Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella

A beautiful and very peaceful and private location. A perfect spot to have a relaxing night after a hike.

The Yurt is great, so many small details in the design and extra thoughtful touches by the host makes it feel very cozy and special.

Although there was a lot of explanation and information in the welcome text and guidebook, a couple of things were not clear (closing the roof to keep in heat and which ropes). Nevertheless, the host replied to my texts quickly to help.

Running creek, pet friendly, comfortable

Quiet neighbourhood. We arrived in the dark and we could hear the babbling brook in the night (it is very close). The yurt was a unique experience. The owner was helpful and polite.

The guest BBQ needed cleaning. I gave it a thorough clean. So, it should be fine if others do the same. Otherwise, it was great. I can only offer suggestions that could help others enjoy their experience. Bring a torch or headtorch for carrying luggage along the path around the house to the yurt. If it is wet, the stairs can be very slippery. I would not recommend if you have knee or hip problems. The brook is very close. Small children need to be supervised at all times. We brought our 2-year old daughter and had an amazing experience.

The romantic scenery and the ger were really satisfying, and the host Ebony was kind.

We were a bit sad when we ran out of gas while barbecuing, but we cooked with a mini oven instead and enjoyed a delicious meal. The fireplace was very warm, but if you don't prepare enough wood yourself, it can get very cold in the early morning. However, the fireplace kept us warm enough.
