Chateau Bass

What a great place to stay! Great facilities, comprehensive continental breakfast, very clean and neat and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and would definitely stay again and for longer.

The only reason it’s not a 10 is because the bed was okay but not fantastic

The location was close to San Remo, Newhaven and Phillip Island. You would need a car to stay there.

The parking area was like a swamp after some rain. We were worried that we we going to walk mud into the accommodation. I must admit, I was taken back with the first correspondence from the owner of the accommodation saying our booking would be immediately cancelled if we turned up with a child under 12. There are better ways to communicate this and my son is 12 so it was fine, but it did make me feel uncomfortable with the tone of the email.

Tracey was so welcoming and helpful from the get go. She showed us around the property and explained everything we needed! No task was too much! a short distance from Phillip island. Would 100% stay here again

Location was ideal for our weekend commitments. A very peaceful location, yet only 10 minutes away from where we needed to be.

Rubbish bins were too small. An outside rubbish bin could also be a good idea.
