Chateau Bass

The breakfast was set out in our room and we just needed to help ourselves when we wanted it. Enjoyed the spa in our bedroom separate from the bathroom which was great.

The beds were a little close together, so if there was three people it would had been uncomfortable. Would had been nice to have extra towels for the spa bath, as one towel got wet and if needed to have shower you had to use wet towels or ask for more.

Location

Bed was uncomfortable and saw a few bugs. Continental Breakfast was instant coffee, fruit cup, instant oatmeal, white bread, and spreads, not the healthiest Our dirty dishes were supposed to be removed when the room was refreshed, but no one came by the first day. The second day was fine.

Lovely and spacious, clean and well presented room. Peaceful location. Tracey the owner was lovely and friendly.

A beautiful place to stay, only half an hour drive to Cowes, and it was really quite nice to be a bit further out when it's quiet. Rooms were clean and spacious, movies available in the main area to watch in the communal lounge or back in the room, communal lounge seating area was a lovely touch, continental breakfast provided (cereal, bread, condiments, juice, fruit cups) which unfortunately I couldn't try (I'm coeliac and need gluten free but didn't expect this to be accommodated) and easy check-in and out process. Highly recommend staying here

The bed mattresses were a little firm but that is really personal preference only, everything was clean, comfortable and spacious, well worth the stay and great value
