The staff were polite but they didn't speak english.

The basic plan doesn't include food at all... even the buffet wasn't included. We couldn't do anything except sleep on the floor and go to the onsen. The room was in poor condition, lots of broken or torn pieces on the walls and ceiling, the door was hard to open and close. We tried to buy breakfast at least, but were late... So we bought our food in other restaurants nearby. Definitely not worth buying the cheapest plan from them.

We were not spending the night here but used the onsen to refresh ourselves. Admission is about 1200 yen per person and there is an outdoor bathing area, although there is really nothing much to see from there. The hotel is about a 8 minute walk up the hill from the information center. I recommend bringing a towel before you go.

We have lovely experience at ARIMA ROYAL HOTEL. Onsen in hotel was average but the food was wonderful ( but just be sure you like this kind of sensitive flavour , otherwise you better eat outside ) Futon bed was super clean and comfortable . Lovely service :)

There are nicer hotel but this one is solid. clean and nice, not big but it has all the elements of traditional Onsen hotel that I wanted my family to experience. Tatami room, eating beautiful yummy dinner in the room. Nice outdoor Onsen pool.

Very new and nice hotel In the walking area of Arima Food is also nice If you come by car becareful very small road in front of hotel Convenient store is around 5 min by walk Hot springs in hotel is same as the popular in Arima, very nive

well, i never try hot spring before, Arima Royal Hotel is one of cheaper hotel in area of arima that getting such facilities, the place is small and the dinner + breakfast not so good but since i went there at peak season. we have no choose on tight budget traveller.
