The room worked perfectly for our group of 4. It was the first time a few of our group has slept on futons but everyone found them comfortable. Very easy to get to Mei Wa Inn with a bus stop that can take you almost everything you want in Kyoto. The rooms were clean and the shower was a great size (6'4 and still able to stand up).

One room was very bright with no blinds, so make sure you bring a sleeping mask.
