Maybe a second bathroom light that does not have a fan attached :)

The location was perfect. Good views, clean room, comfy bed. Close to the ferry over to Lyttelton.

Only one small thing was that there is no cooling in the room, there is a fan which did the job.

A fantastic little motel with friendly staff and an excellent view.

We wish we had stayed longer!

Right on the road with people walking closely past when you’re on the balcony.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful- including assistance with changing a flat tire. The motel was charming and very clean. Great position in Diamond Harbour.

A spacious and very clean and tidy room with everything we needed for a short stay. What was most impressive was the location - in a quiet picturesque village atmosphere, with lovely walks, and a view over the water from the veranda where we played Chinese checkers as the sun set. The hill view out the back was equally picturesque, as was the drive to get there. There is a great little coffee shop right next door (with quiche and croissants for breakfast), and a bar and eatery for dinner as well (we recommend the lamb curry and salmon salad). If we knew how nice this spot was, we would have stayed more than just the one night so we could explore the area. Next time!
