Fabulous location, feels like you are in the middle of nowhere and the stars were amazing. Campsite had everything you could need and was really comfortable and warm.

Road up to the car park needs some attention, the potholes were massive and prickly bushes were overgrown, would not recommend for a normal car, luckily we were in an SUV but still managed to damage the rental car. The walk up to the camp was particularly difficult in the rain. The lights in the tent weren’t charged, and power banks provided were also not charged. Luckily we had our own power bank.

"Not as advertised, needs repairs, not worth cost"

3.0

The glamping tent itself is beautiful to look at, the scenery is beautiful, they provide a great pdf guide for the property, that’s unfortunately it. Night was cold (in December / summer) - they need doonas for all beds not just the Queen bed. Overcast so zero stars, and really all of the marketing for this experience relies on sleeping under the stars yet of course there’s no refund for bad weather. Poor sleep because it’s daylight 5am-10pm (summer twilight) no way to darken it obviously, it’s designed for stargazing. None of tent lights turned on presumably because overcast (solar), I found torches in the drawer. The shower (gas hot water) didn’t start, had to get dressed, find phone, call them, they said just try it 10 more times, it eventually started. The lake is far and not accessible (we tried). So it was really an extremely overpriced tent with carpet and pretty blankets. With no lights, no stars, and a walk in the rain to the camping toilet.

The kitchen has not been maintained, not as advertised, they really can’t charge $440 per night (less than 24h, 3pm-10am) as it is currently. The tea and coffee supplies were all mouldy! The bbq is badly rusted inside and out, half of burners don’t start. Cabinet broken, handles coming off. All cutlery and plates covered in dust, spiderwebs, insects - even inside the closed drawers? Have to wash everything. You need to carry your own ice in, I’m fit but it’s a very steep 200m walk up (there is a road, they ask you not to drive up but do provide a small trolley). They provide kitchen bins but ask you to take all your rubbish with you when you leave?! The kitchen lights again didn’t work. Really not sure what I paid for here! It’s hard to understand the previous glowing reviews if recent. I think if you’ve never camped or slept outdoors AND had perfect weather for sleeping under the stars AND they have to fix the kitchen and ideally provide a breakfast basket or similar, it would be pricey but worth the experience. As it is currently - do not book.

This was an amazing experience as the dome is very remote. I only had one night but would love to book in the future for longer.

Getting to the parking was a bit rough, especially with a rental as you could easily scratch your car with the brush. I would advise you to have a suv vs a car if you are interested in this property.

Views, comfortable, quiet, overall - very well done and enjoyable

Unpleasant uphill walk from car to campsite- really wouldn't fancy it in the wet! No bin bags to take rubbish away (which was requested)

8.0

The view and the solitude Space in the tent was great and bed was comfortable. The night sky view through the roof was amazing.Enjoyed the gas heater in the kitchen.Luggage trolley was great.

Toilet tent was very small .Difficult for a tall person.Solar lights not working in kitchen.Tap on fresh water bottle very difficult to turn on and off needed two hands .Parking could be a little closer for 70 year olds .
