Toiyabe Motel

While the place was clean, and the bedsheets were clean and free of bedbugs, place was a dump and right on the highway, and I could hear both the highway and the drip, drip drip of the next room’s air conditioning unit and I didn’t even turn on mine because it was so making old looking

Absolutely awesome! Would give it a 9 on 10 , bot 10 because there was no t I ulet paper in the room but no biggie, I had some with me travelling on my motorcycle. Would recommend it to anyone! Fantastic fantastic stay, will come back for sure!

Clean place, nice view

It was okay once I figured out how to use the air conditioner. It was a little too small in the bathroom. Hard to get to the commode.

A group of construction workers or hunter/fishermen were gathered in front of my room having a nice little party. They moved when I arrived but left there chairs and outdoor cooker where I could not park my vehicle in front of my room.

It's a very nice, quiet motel with knotty pine interiors, a nice bathroom and shower/bath, and is dog friendly. It's within walking distance of what Walker, CA has to offer and a short drive to other destinations (Topaz Lake, Topaz Lake Lodge and Casino, and some very scenic drives and hikes). And for us, it was very quiet and I didn't hear a single fireworks boom over the last several years that I have been going here over the Independence Day holiday. Getting away from the noise of the Independence Day holiday was our goal for our dog and Walker, CA always delivers.
