Rock Creek Mercantile & Motel

We love Rock Creek Fisherman's Mercantile! My husband first went there 20 years ago for his bachelor weekend, and we've since stayed there as a family for a really pleasant stopover on longer trips between Washington state and Yellowstone. It's not fancy, but it's always comfortable and clean, and can affordably accommodate our family of five. And the staff are very friendly. It's nice for my husband to be able to take a fishing break in the middle of a long drive, and the kids always find something fun to do in the creek (and the teens appreciated the wi-fi). We also really enjoyed exploring the nearby Confluence land trust. We'll definitely continue to choose Rock Creek Fisherman's Mercantile when traveling through Montana.

This is not a criticism of Rock Creek Fisherman's Mercantile, but we were so sad to see that the restaurant next door had closed. It was a favorite on prior visits.

The room was very nice. I liked the location and the porch.

We would have liked to be able to open the main windows. The air conditioning was a bit loud.

Owner was friendly, nice clean place with lots of room.

We camp for a week then stay at the Mercantile to clean our dishes, cloths, and air out anything that needs it before another week of camping. The Mercantile is perfect. It is a family business and we always feel welcome. They have made improvements every year. Always look forward to staying here.

Estaba muy limpio, la cama era muy comoda. En general estaba todo bastante bien, mucho mejor que lo que se puede reflejar en fotos.
