There was a food truck in the parking lot that had great breakfast stuff. Nice folks. Also pretty comfortable bed. Everything was very clean. Really pretty setting. Lots of fly fishermen around.

I would have given an even better score, but we had an unfortunate situation. It wasn't the fault of the resort, but may could have been handled better. There was a bad windstorm the evening that we got there and the electricity went out due to trees falling on the electric lines. Because this is a rural place, the electricity being out meant that there was also no water because the water depends on a pump! So we were in the dark with also no water to flush the toilet or anything else! Luckily the weather was mild so we didn't need either heat or air conditioning. We used our own flashlights and tucked in for the night. We had bottled water for drinking so we were okay. We left in the morning and still didn't have either running water or electricity! It would have been better if someone had been around in the office/store so that we could have maybe gotten some answers about what to expect. We left about 10 in the morning and still didn't see anyone.

It was perfect for fishing on Rock Creek.Matt gave us great advice on fly fishing. John was great with the organization.
