Emerald Best Motel

Tremendous value for the price. Emerald Best Motel is an older facility but it was remarkably clean and well-maintained. I was very impressed.

The blanket on the bed was a bit thin. This was not a surprise since this is a budget motel. You can compensate for the think blanket by turning up the heat a bit.

I haven’t received my $100 deposit back. I stayed for one night, and the manager said the money would be returned within 1–2 business days. That time has passed, but I still haven’t received the deposit.

It was convenient located. My room definitely smelled freshly cleaned. I was able to park right in front of my door. The bed was very comfortable.

I could hear my neighbor through the wall. I could hear any noise outside of my door/windows. There was someone who walked by and ripped a very loud fart and it was almost like they were in the room. My bathroom window had no curtain on it, so if someone was outside it they could see in. I'm not sure how far the ground was behind the building but it was a bit uncomfortable. The curtains in the main room was barely covering the window. There was small breaks on either end of the cutains and in the middle where they met. I wished they were a bit bigger so the full window could be completely covered.

The location was perfect—easy to access off of I-5, minutes from our destination, within walking distance of Winco, various restaurants, a small Asian mall anchored by 99 Ranch Market…It was quiet even though right on Hwy 99. Larger than mini frig/freezer in room, comfy bed, cable TV, excellent Wi-fi…friendly staff, late check-in…very economical. This was our 2nd stay, and we would definitely stay again.

The room had only one chair for the two of us — another chair would be helpful. No hooks in the bathroom.
